Document Retrieval & Delivery Support is designed for international patients who need assistance retrieving hospital-related documents in China after treatment, consultation, examination, or hospitalization.
Many foreign patients face difficulties collecting medical records, invoices, receipts, examination reports, discharge summaries, and reimbursement-related hospital materials, especially when they have already left China or are unfamiliar with local hospital administrative procedures.
MedigoChina provides administrative assistance with collecting available hospital documents and forwarding scanned copies or electronic versions to the patient by email when available.
Depending on the hospital and authorization requirements, patients may be asked to provide identification documents, signed authorization forms, passport copies, hospital visit information, or additional supporting materials before documents can be released.
Depending on the hospital, department, and treatment type, patients may request assistance retrieving:
Hospital document availability, release procedures, and processing times may vary depending on the hospital, department, and document type. Some hospitals may require additional verification, in-person authorization procedures, or multiple administrative visits before documents can be released.
This service does not include insurance claim submission, insurance negotiation, reimbursement approval, medical interpretation, or legal representation. Final reimbursement decisions are determined entirely by the patient’s insurance provider.
Patients are responsible for selecting and submitting all requested documents during the initial request process. The service will be provided based only on the documents and materials selected or described in the submitted request form.
A completed document retrieval request is considered closed once the requested materials included in the original submission have been retrieved, processed, or confirmed by the hospital, regardless of the number of hospital visits or administrative attempts required during the process.
Additional document requests, newly added materials, separate hospital departments, or subsequent retrieval requests after case completion may require a new order.
