Document Retrieval & Delivery Support $179

Many international patients face difficulties retrieving hospital documents in China after treatment or consultation, especially when they are no longer in the country or are unfamiliar with local hospital administrative procedures.

This service provides administrative assistance with collecting available hospital-related documents and forwarding scanned copies or electronic versions to the patient by email when available.

We may assist with retrieving reimbursement-related hospital materials, including medical visit records, invoices, official receipts, examination or test reports, discharge summaries, payment proof, and other available hospital documents authorized by the patient.

What’s Included

This service may include assistance with in-person hospital document collection, administrative communication related to document retrieval procedures, scanning available materials, organizing digital copies, and forwarding available electronic files or scanned documents to the patient via email.

Depending on the hospital and authorization requirements, patients may be asked to provide identification documents, signed authorization forms, passport copies, hospital visit information, or additional supporting materials before documents can be released.

Commonly Requested Hospital Documents

Depending on the hospital, department, and treatment type, patients may request assistance retrieving medical records, doctor consultation notes, examination reports, discharge summaries, invoices, payment receipts, prescription-related documents, or other available hospital-issued materials.

Important Notes

Hospital document availability, release procedures, and processing times may vary depending on the hospital and department. Some hospitals may require additional verification, in-person authorization procedures, or multiple visits before documents can be released.

This service does not include insurance claim submission, insurance negotiation, reimbursement approval, or legal representation. Final reimbursement decisions are determined entirely by the patient’s insurance provider.

Patients are responsible for selecting and submitting all requested documents during the initial request process. The service will be provided based only on the documents and materials selected or described in the submitted request form.

A completed document retrieval request is considered closed once the requested materials included in the original submission have been retrieved, processed, or confirmed by the hospital, regardless of the number of hospital visits or administrative attempts required during the process.

Additional document requests, newly added materials, separate hospital departments, or subsequent retrieval requests after case completion may require a new order.

Recommended For

This service is recommended for international patients who have already completed treatment in China, patients who need assistance retrieving hospital records after returning home, patients preparing reimbursement-related materials for insurance purposes, or patients unfamiliar with Chinese hospital administrative systems.
